What is Our Answer to Suffering? Psalm 6-10

 No tears are wasted for a righteous person answers suffering of himself and others by seeking the divine for life because faith endures. Martin Luther wrote in his book “A Manual on the Book of Psalms,” “These internal fears and terrors, under which all the godly agonize and sweat, will, of necessity, one day wholly swallow up the hypocrites who are destitute of the word.” (Pg.40 LutheranLibrary.org translated by Henry Cole) Our banner is Mercy because only in life can we keep His commandments.

Our refuge is in the divine when we are falsely accused, for at the “End of Days,” He will judge the world. The Lord is a shield to those who trust in Him. The praise of the Almighty is over all creation, but the tetragrammaton is a special manifestation as John Calvin wrote in his “Commentary on Psalm Vol. I” this,

“ There is presented to us in the whole order of nature, the most abundant matter for showing forth the glory of God, but, as we are unquestionably more powerfully affected with what we ourselves experience, David here, with great propriety, expressly celebrates the special favor which God manifests towards mankind; for this, of all the subjects which come under our contemplation, is the brightest mirror in which we can behold his glory.” (Pg.118)

God came down to earth in the person of Yeshua to atone for sins, but will return as a glorious King. The whole being of a child of God is expressed in praise to Him. The Holy One rebukes the nation but is likewise a refuge for the oppressed. Wicked for in their own devices for they have no fear of the divine. May the Lord give us pity.

The Lord appears distant to us. Atheism greats vanity as the divine is replaced with deities of the mind. Such creates unfounded confidence. The evil speech is loud and violent. Pain fallows as the innocent are crushed by the wicked. God sees that pain. The Lord is King of All and protects the week as Ex 22:22-24 says, “You shall not afflict any widow or orphan. If you afflict him at all, and if he does cry out to Me, I will surely hear his cry; and My anger will be kindled, and I will kill you with the sword, and your wives shall become widows and your children fatherless.”NASU

Contentment can never be found by associating one’s self with evil people. The attributes of the Mystical YHVH are pitying the sinner, gracing the repentant, ruling, sympathizing to suffering, loving concern, long-suffering, abounding in mercy, verifying, remembering human merit, understanding, forgiving, atoning, and seeing guilt. In spite of grace, wicked choose ruin. At the End of Days Messiah will judge evil.

Fear is real  as our enemies are numerous. Our fear must drive us to the Lord. Why does God Oppress the Righteous?(Job 10-16

 Pain, an intricate sculptor of emotions, wields its power over us. Through its harsh chisel, we give voice to our most poignant sorrows. Every one of us, in a moment of soulful plea, has beseeched the heavens, praying not to be met with disdain. As descendants of the divine, we witness the Lord's hand raising the sinful, while humbling us to forge our ultimate betterment. Those in Christ have the confidence of forgiveness as Gregory the Great wrote in his Morals of the Book of Job 9.69-70 this,

 “In his heart, he questions the Judge with the result that under his visitation he is full of doubt about the merit of life. However, when the goodness of his life is brought before the eyes of the mind, it is as the Judge gave comfort to the answer whereby he never strikes to destroy but strikes sustain the innocency of life and conduct.(A Library of Fathers of the Holy Catholic Church Anterior to the Division of the East and West 18:545-46)

God created each one of us in our mother's womb. Life is a gift of God but so is suffering. He sees sinn but forgives it, also. Everyone asks why they were born. Our witness is the Lord. Man's days are few, but the Lord acts in them. Those in Yeshua when they die will be in heaven.

Pain knows no reason. Idle talk will silence no one. Our ways are not God's ways. We claim that we don't deserve what we get. If we repent and put our trust in Yeshua, we can have peace with the Lord.We can never discover the mysteries of God as the Israel Bible states on Job 11 this:

However, as Moshe is told, we cannot comprehend the ways of God and might never understand the answer to this question as long as we are living. Wisdom dies with the wise. All people have an opinion when it comes to suffering. Chysostom wrote in his “commentary on Job 13.4-5, “ Indeed, when senseless words are spoken. It is better to remain in silence, and in being silent, one will show greater wisdom then speaking.(Patristische Texte und Studien 35:109) Those who suffer are belittled objects. Pain ignores integrity. The West has a contempt for pain. Wicked appear to prosper as they appear to be secure.

Only nature will tell the truth of God as Job 12:8-9 states "Or speak to the earth, and let it teach you; And let the fish of the sea declare to you. Who among all these does not know That the hand of the LORD has done this” NASU The Lord is sovereign. We all have seen pain an understand it. We must humble ourselves before God and man. John Calvin preached this in Sermons by Master John Calvin Upon the Book of Job in his sermon “The xlix Sermon Which Is the First Upon the Thirteenth Chapter:”

 “Wherefore let every man think upon his own infirmities and sins: and that will make us to stoup, and to esteem those whom we have presumptuously shaken off:& let us be afraid to do God any wrong by dispelling such as are not utterly destitute of his gracious gifts .”  (Line 60-65 Pg 227  Arther Golding 1574 Lucus Harris)

Talk to God in your distress. The Lord brings pain. Man speaks unjustly and condemns wrongly. Maxims are meaningless. All people like to judge. Death does not destroy a believer. In suffering we have hope in our Messiah as Job stated in Job 19:25-26, “As for me, I know that my Redeemer lives, And at the last He will take His stand on the earth. Even after my skin is destroyed,Yet from my flesh I shall see God;” NASU Suffering demands cause. There are times The Lord's face is hidden.

We are dry branches without Him. All must treble at His Name. All humans are bound to death. Man, born of woman, has limited days like a flower in the sun. We are born out of impurity. God has fixed the number of our days. Unlike plants that re-sprouts, when we die, we wait until the End of Days.

Wind does not bring wisdom. Sin teaches our mouths to speak artistically. Our mouths stand in judgment against us. We are not the first ones to experience pain. Wisdom is not limited to one man. We drink the waters of injustice. God hides His purity from us. The wicked have pain though evil screaming in their ears. Those who stretch their hand against the lord will be judged.

Because Sherman ordered his men to rape civilian with the exact wording of the order saying  "Death is Mercy, and the quicker he or she is disposed of the better." What in Godliness Worth? (Job 1

 What is Integrity worth? Our wealth must be based on the fear of God and the intolerance of sin. Wealth is based in blessing not is one's abilities alone. Clement of Alexandria wrote, “For not a single thing that we posses is properly our own. We are properly owners of one possession, that is godliness. Death does not rob us of this when it over takes us.” (Ante Nicene Fathers 2:77) Our godliness must extent past ourselves and to family and those around us.

Each year all people, angels, etc stand before the divine in Judgment. The accuser first stands in judgment against Israel. The Righteous are exalted before the Lord. True integrity and godliness cannot be revealed until that is all one has. Honor is their relative and Japanese prefer suicide over dishonor.( honor and integrity are very different.)

Chocolate tastes good because it is both sweet and bitter. All power is given by God to bless or affliction. Satan is given power to purify, judge and tempt; however the Lord is the one who afflicts. He is the author of destruction and provision as Chrysostom wrote, “ Why did God provide us with our goods? He did not do so because we deserved them. God was absolutely free to grant us only affliction.”  (Patristische Texte und Studien 35:47-48) Life is a gift from the devine and those who put their faith in Messiah have eternal hope.

Health is different from wealth for the mind and emotions are bound to the body. (I have anxiety because of my high blood pressure.) The accuser may touch our body, but cannot take our life for that power is given to the angel of death. A true friend must comfort but not speak to the aflicted. Birth and death are before the Lord on equal footing. There is darkness in joy . A mother is haunted with joy of her children  Death of the righteous gives final tranquility. The Lord gives Light to the poor. Our completion is hidden.

Why do we speak? We have give wisdom to others to keep silent when we are in pain. Our faith in God though the messiah is our assurance as Micah 7:8-9 states

“Do not rejoice over me, O my enemy.

Though I fall I will rise;

Though I dwell in darkness, the LORD is a light for me.

 I will bear the indignation of the LORD

Because I have sinned against Him,

Until He pleads my case and executes justice for me.

He will bring me out to the light,

And I will see His righteousness.”

Our hope is on the Lord Yeshua the Messiah. The arm of flesh destroys the stupid as anger destroys the soul. Humanity does not seek justice. Fortune is a fickle mistress. What makes us human is our suffering. Our only recourse is the Lord.  the final affliction is sweet to the righteus who will be in heaven Gregory the Great in his “Morals on the Book of Job 7.17” wrote, “For the soul is increasingly straitened as heavenly aspersions are enlarged. When it perceives how great is the sweetness of the eternal land, it fervently loves for the sake of the present lives bitter taste.” (A Library of Fathers of the Holy Catholic Church Anterior to the Division of the East and West 18:375-76) our suffering must be presented before the Lord alone.

All men are solders and slave to shadows . We find our lot in nights of pain. Suffering is not hidden by rest. People scorn them. In our suffering we should speak before the Lord. We must give tranquility to those who are suffering. We must ask what is man. If we sin, we sin before God alone.

God does what is righteousness. If His children sin, He will punish them. When we ask for grace, He will give it. We really know nothing because we live in the shadows. Thos whose confence is in there own hands and  mind fail. Can man be just by himself before the Almighty? God is all wise and strong. He destroys the moutains and could ordain the sun not to rise. Fate is bound to the angels whom He controls. If we are pure, we don't need pity.

When we suffer, we question our integrity. Pain happens. One cannot forget his suffering

Why Evil? (Habakkuk)

 There is a limit to grace on earth, even for the people of God. The ground cries , “violence, “ demanding justice as R. D Culver in His book “Toward a Biblical View of Civil Government” wrote this:

The unpunished crimes pollute the land, becoming a growing mortgage against all, upon which God may finally foreclose, driving some inhabitants away, destroying others and permitting different people to dwell in the land.” (Pg.93-94, Chicago:Moody 1974)

It is our wickedness that the death cry out against . Calvin wrote this in his “Commentary of the Minor Prophets Volume III” this:

There is no reason for you to enquire who are the wicked; for ye yourselves are they, even ye who are the holy people of God and God’s chosen inheritance, ye who are the race of Abraham, who flatter yourselves so much on account of your excellency; ye are the wicked, who have not hitherto ceased to provoke the vengeance of God. (Pg. 111, Christian Classics Ethereal Library)

The question rather is this of “Why does evil prosper currently?” With few exceptions perversion prospers. Even Christians have no respect for Torah. Legislative bodies and court give corrupt judgment. However, they must become worthy of the divine justice. The Lord will do to come a viler enemy. It will be God's terror. All will be abandoned to His Violence. Our greatness will be destroyed.

Our God is Holy. He is our Rock, which is why he executes justice. Those whom He raises up are instruments of His justice. His Eyes are too pure to accept badly and cannot support the affliction. Lord, you treat humans as your possession. The enemy that the Lord rises up will sin in abundance but will not be pitied by the Almighty. I will tended my post for the Lord answered.

This is important. if you pay attention. We must come to the Lord patiently an arrow is in an evil heart, but the Just receive grace for his faith. Richard D. Patterson wrote in his book “Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah” this:

While the upright pursue the path of righteousness before God, the case is different with the wicked. Such individuals refuse God's instruction and lordship and seek to gratify their own desires. (Pg. 177 Chicago:Moody 1991)

In effect, riches deceive eyes. It opens death. Wealth conquers a nation, as all are under its dominion. There is coming a day when we will mock to say that one is trying to accumulate wealth. Wealth leaves suddenly. Cursed is everyone who amasses a profit to curse his family. It destroys a nation.

Wine is a mocker. Cursed are those who drink to excess for their drunkenness brings the infamy of the nudity of body and soul. The drink the anger of God. We sculpted idols in our minds. We call but they cannot rise and save us in bad times. All are silent before the Almighty.

We need to offer ourselves before the Lord. God's city is Jerusalem. His hands bring illumination. Pestilence dies before Him. Who He regards, He raises a nation. The Holy One decapitates the House of the Wicked.

Who do You Think You Are? (Amos 1-5)

 Almighty roars over all nations. At His voice the earth trembles. All people are under His Law for they are His creation, so he may demand  his Justice on all as D. David Garland in his book “Amos:: Bible Study Commentary wrote this:

Since the Creator is a moral being, those created in His image were also. Therefore, every moral standard set by the Creator was to be observed by every man whether a citzen of a covenant nation or not. Any man or any nation ignoring God's standard or refusing to meet it was placed under judgment.” (pg.21:Zondervan Publishing House, 1966)

Neither, Beelzebub not commerce can save us. We have sinned and deserve the judgment of the Holy One, He he is also merciful and does not give us everything we deserve immediate ly giving us time to repent as John Calvin wrote in COMMENTARIES ON THE TWELVE MINOR PROPHETS Vol. 2 this:

Let us learn from this place, that God, whom the world regards as too cruel, when he takes vengeance on sins, shows really and by sure proof the truth of what he declares so often of himself in Scripture, and that is, that he bears long and does not quickly take vengeance: though men are worthy to perish yet the Lord suspends his judgments. 1 But, there is a limit to grace I the physical realm. God still must judge sin. It is said the  second Temple fell for baseless hatred. The blood cries of the innocent unborn demand justice on those who chose abortion. HURRICANS, PLEGUE AND RECECSSON ARE GIVEN TO BRING REPENTANCE.

We Children of of the Living God have committed crimes against the Holy one also. We lost our love for scripture. Sinai is the second freedom. Obedience to God’s commands are no longer important to us. Justice is for sale, having divorced the truth. Our gluttony has caused us to forget the importance of giving to the poor. Deviant sex permeated the people of the Almighty. Rejecting the Lord for bribes, we are more responsible because of our sin as Dr. Thomas L. Constable wrote in his “Notes on Amos” this:

 God’s people are greatly blessed people. Unfortunately, many Christians conclude that because “there is therefore now no condemnation in Christ Jesus,” there is also no accountability to Christ Jesus. We must all stand before the judgment seat of Christ to receive payment for what we have done with the light that God has given us (Rom. 14; 1 Cor. 3; 2 Cor. 5).(pg13 2023 edition)

Can two walk together nonsensical? Or, so traps trigger themselves? See how the West has already become chaotic? God will destroy the West so that only rubble remains. Christendoms crimes are numerous. Monuments of our greatness, the Lord will destroy.

 

            Wealth weakens a country from within. It destroyer national morals. Poverty becomes the oppressor. The rich despise the divine as Jacob, the Messiahs’s brother, gave this reproof in James 2:6-7, “But you have dishonored the poor man. Is it not the rich who oppress you and personally drag you into court? Do they not blaspheme the fair name by which you have been called?”John Calvin wrote later in COMMENTARIES ON THE TWELVE MINOR PROPHETS Vol. 2 this:

….and it was right that they should be thus roughly handled, because through fatness, as it is usually the case, they had contracted dullness; for when men abound in riches, when they become great in power, they forget themselves and despise God, for they think themselves beyond the reach of danger. The Western Church has become a social club. It is not God's house. We build edifices to our moral standards and sin. The Lord's standards are lost so we sin in worship as Warren W. Wiersbe wrote in "Amos," in The Bible Exposition Commentary/Prophets, "It's as though a pastor today said to his congregation, 'Sure, go ahead and attend church,but by attending, you're only sinning more.…Your heart isn't serious about knowing God or doing His will. Since it's all just playacting.'"(p. 353:Christian Book; 2007).

The Lord gives difficulty, but we continue to sin. He tries drought but we do not return to Him. Coronaviris ravaged the land, and we would not repent. We need the The Plagues of Exodus . The Almighty will mow down our youth and give us up to ourselves as Romans 1:28-29a  “And just as they did not see fit to acknowledge God any longer, God gave them over to a depraved mind, to do those things which are not proper, being filled with all unrighteousness, wickedness, greed, evil; ...”  The attributes of the Mystical YHVH are pitying the sinner, gracing the repentant, ruling, sympathizing to suffering, loving concern, long-suffering, abounding in mercy, verifying, remembering human merit, understanding, forgiving, atoning, and seeing guilt.

The West has fallen. It is only an issue of time . If as individuals we turn to the Lord, we may live as the prophet Amos wrote in Amos 5:4,  “For thus says the LORD to the house of Israel,  Seek Me that you may live.” NASU Love good and do what is right.

 Those who seek the second coming are fools. Those who seek the second coming overlook the severity of the judgment they will face. It is a day of weeping not rescue.

Our holiness does not impress the Lord. God did not create Christmas, Easter, Sunday, ect. If you hate your brother, the Lord will not take your offering. The Lord only wants love and His Torah to be kept, as amos also said in Amos 5:24 “But let judgment run down as waters, and righteousness as a mighty stream.” KJV So fall the West.

Where is their God? (Joel)

 

Wake from your buzz. This generation has seen the worst. Our children will condemn our failures. Our greatness has been devoured. COVID-19 was a sign of the Lord's Judgment. Lament like a young widow for even churches are hurting financially. The West is destroyed. The same ones who refuse to see even morning as John Calvin wrote in his “Commentaries on the Twelve Minor Prophets Volume II this:

“It is indeed true that foolish men are blind to the daily works of God; as the favor of God in making his sun to rise daily is but little thought of by us. This happens through our ingratitude; but our ingratitude is doubled, and is much more base and less excusable, when the Lord works in an unwonted manner, and we yet with closed eves overlook what ought to be deemed a miracle.” (Pg.14Christian Classics Ethereal Library )

 

Sound the shofar for the days of repentance. During the great Tribulation, the planet will be consumed. Demons will torture men physically. Darkness will cover the earth. Earth quakes will be common. Who can endure it. Ronald B. Allen wrote in his book “Joel,” “The only rational reaction to these words of coming judgment is a thorough revival, a complete national repentance. From babies to aged men, the entire nation needs to repent.” (pg. 15, Lamplighter Books: 1988 )

            Now, Return to the Lord. He wants an inner change not out ward repentance as Joel wrote in Joel 2:13 “And rend your heart and not your garments. Now return to the LORD your God, For He is gracious and compassionate, Slow to anger, abounding in lovingkindness And relenting of evil.” NASU The Lord loves us and wants to restore us even as Israel is a great nation.

There is a day coming when the whole world will see the Holy One, for he will pour out His spiit on therm. Then, the Earth will tremble and the mood will be as blood. The the Jews were wanderers so the world will be judge. However, all who call upon the Lord will be saved even as those who believe on Messiah now.

In the Last Days, the Lost Tribes from Cherokee to Kuki will return to the Israel. Those who create idols of their own heart, let them com t against the Almighty for He will Judge them. The prophet Joel ended his book with this:

  20 But Judah will be inhabited forever

And Jerusalem for all generations.

21 And I will avenge their blood which I have not avenged,

For the LORD dwells in Zion.
