In sorrow, one gains a wisdom of the eternal One impossible to find in happiness and a closeness to the Same for we find that He bares our sorrows. Only God must be worshiped. The alliance between man and God must be protected. A great thing happens when men of God rediscover godly work with holiness and fight for the honor of the one true God. When one has truly consumed Hashem, any sin will eat that one up.
