If you fall in your power, it is not the Lord’s fault.
When the Lord calls us to a mission, but we fall, then we will see the Almighty
as G. Campbell Morgan declared, “The supreme need in every hour of difficulty
and depression is a vision of God. To see Him is to see all else in proper
proportion and perspective.” It is the Almighty’s victory though “cracked
pots.”
The Holy One has given us a divine heritage. In
remembering what the Lord did for our ancestors, we gain faith as Dennis Prager
wrote in his book “Exodus God, Slavery and Freedom,” “Without remembering,
there is no gratitude, no wisdom, no faith.” (Pg.111) the Almighty has not
forgotten us but will deliver His children.
Within fate, the Lord has given all men free will. The
children of Light being the only image of the divine the pagans see stand in
the expression of righteous judgment. When a person freely rejects the Lord
long enough, he loses his will to his own depravity as he descends into holy
justice. Compassion’s roots are in holiness as Dennis Prager states later,
“While the world needs compassion and other good traits, they must all be
rooted rooted or we end up with neither justice nor compassion.” (Pg. 80)
Though divine judgment, people gain a reverence for the divine.
The Lord punishes us to draw us to turn from our own
wickedness. In our punishment we see His righteousness, If we repent, we may
still receive punishment, but we will have light though it as the Lord forgives
us in the blood of the Messiah as Micah 7:9 declares, “I will bear the
indignation of the LORD Because I have sinned against Him, Until He pleads my
case and executes justice for me. He will bring me out to the light, And I will
see His righteousness.” NASU Repentance is not a single act, but a continual
process of turning from sin.
Forgive our sinfulness. Do not reject the Lord.
Believe.
